Legal Drafting, Advisory & Due Diligence
Document-focused legal services, including drafting, review, legal advisory and due diligence tailored to the purpose and circumstances of each matter.

Overview
Some legal work centres on preparing or reviewing documents rather than appearing in a dispute. The practice includes drafting and advisory work, with document vetting and due diligence where relevant to the instructions.
Drafting and review services
- Drafting or review of pleadings and legal notices.
- Preparation or review of deeds, agreements, contracts and related documents.
- Legal advisory concerning the documents and proposed course of action.
- Title-related searches, document review and due diligence within the agreed scope.
Defining the scope
Useful drafting and document review depends on understanding the purpose, parties, available records and intended use. A review is limited to the materials and questions included in the engagement; it is not a certification of matters outside that scope.
Advisory work and litigation representation
Drafting or advisory instructions are distinct from representation in court proceedings. A request to prepare or review a document does not itself create an engagement to represent a party in litigation; any such representation must be separately discussed and agreed.
